Every Practice is Unique
I started having a regular yoga practice in 2014 when I joined an Iyengar studio in Montana. I loved the focus on anatomy and alignment that Iyengar yoga provides. Using props and variations for every class made it obvious that anyone can do yoga with the right support.
My classes include elements of Iyengar, Yin, restorative, Anusara, and Hatha yoga. I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training at Arhanta Yoga Ashram in the Netherlands. Having a regular yoga practice is especially important to my mental health. I find yoga helps me to self-regulate, stay grounded, and understand my body.
I live in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom where I work as a vocational educator at the Northern State Correctional Facility.
See What Others Have Shared
I have been taking yoga for twenty years. I always understood that a session could be life-changing but I never experienced that until a class with Meredith. I went into a recent class with a bout of anxiety and just five minutes in I felt my stress melt away. I can now see how yoga can be a holistic medicine. Thank you to Meredith for being an amazing teacher.
